Everyone Thought This Was A Nice Boring Logo…
The British government’s Office Of Government Commerce needed a logo. So, they went to the logo designers and got this.
It cost 14,000 British pounds (~$20,000 US) and appeared to be boring enough to please everyone.
That is, until someone turned it on its side.

Marketing Education Take Aways
Not to be trite, but, it just is another great example of why we want to look at everything we do in the web world from the customer’s perspective.
Be aware that the way you look at something may be different than the way the customer looks at it.
